All animals are adapting to their suburban settings the Groundhog is no exception. Groundhogs are getting crafty in where they place their entrance and exit holes.Groundhogs are placing these hole under decks and sheds . We have gotten a couple of calls where groundhogs have tunneled right into the basement. Imagine going downstairs to the laundry and to find a groundhog and a big hole in what you though was a quant brick  floor. Now this has only happened in the very old homes where it is brick or dirt floor in the crawl spaces of your basemen.

CAN GROUNDHOGS BE DANGEROUS? Because groundhogs have gotten so bold they won't think twice about stealing food from your dog or cat!!!

WHEN DO GROUNDHOGS HAVE THEIR BABIES? You need to be very careful it will some be groundhog's baby season in June till the end of July.

DO GROUDDHOGS CARRY RABIES? If you think you have a groundhog then you need to be careful as groundhogs are the #1 Rabies Carrier in Ontario, Canada. Back in the seventies when the Transport Industry Really Took off Rabid Groundhogs, Raccoons and Possum Started hitching rides across the boarder. Before that Canada was pretty much rabies free.

WHAT ARE THE DANGERS OF A RABID RACCOON? A rabid Groundhog will charge at you, I was surprised myself to see how quick they are.I truly believe that groundhogs don't like cameras or being filmed. I got bit by a groundhog before I got my camera setup and could get the shot. I didn't think that she would charge the way the groundhog did.
