THEY ARE VERY DANGEROUS, WHAT IF WHILE YOU ARE TRING TO SHOW HOW TUFF YOU ARE BY BEING THE FEARLESS RACCOON RIDDER THAT BY OPENING THE ATTIC HATCH AND LEAVING IT OPEN FOR THE LIGHT. WHILE YOU WERE LOOKING AROUND IN THE FAR PART OF THE ATTIC …
**While you weren’t looking the raccoon escaped the attic and ran down the ladder and is now chasing your kids and dog around the house. YOUR WIFE IS CHASING ALL OF THEM AROUND WITH A BROOM ALL CAUSE YOU COULDN’T LISTEN TO REASON!!!
**LEAVE THE ATTIC HATCH SHUT!!! AND STAY OFF OF THE ROOF LEAVE THE ATTIC AND ROOVES TO THE PROFESSIONALS NO ONE NEEDS TO GET HURT IF THINGS ARE DONE PROPERLY.
Simply if the sounds – noises that you are hearing lead you to the attic you don’t want to go to the hatch anyway follow the noise to the outside walls closest to the sounds then it I want you to…
GO OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE TO THAT SPOT AND SURVEY THE AREA:
First see if there is a Vent right where you are hearing the noise. If there is and you are hearing the scratching noises first thing in the morning and through out the day you could have birds, black, red or grey squirrels, mice, rats or even a small possum. Now you have to figure out what it is.
How do figure out what is going in your vent?
Then At Ground Level Look for Paw Prints, Fur or Feathers, Poop and Scratching in the dirt in the flower beds near the Eves Trough Down Spouts. Follow up the down spout you’ll probably find tracks, poop or fur. If you do see paw prints on the down spout then make sure to look at the bottom carefully as an animal climbs they will poop. If you have animals in your attic there will always be poop at the down spouts, hydro pole or trees close enough for the Raccoon, Possum or Squirrel to use to gain entry. It’s too much work for rats and mice.
Rats and Mice Prefer the short cuts they’ll use your dryer vent mostly. Once they are in the walls they are everywhere. Rats and Mice will always leave poop on the ground for you to find. Mouse and Bat Poop are almost identical except that mouse poop doesn't shine.
Bats are a great example of this.
What Does bat poop Guano Look like? When you have bats entering your home there will always be a pile of black shiny almost resembling tiny pebbles of asphalt. If you follow it up your wall you will see where while they’ve climbed they left black streaks.
This is a big job and some work. You may simply decide that it's simpler to have us come out and give a your house a complete inspection and find out what the noises mean.
But there is some kind of justification that you get when you prove that your not crazy and there really is something in the wall - that you don't have any ghosts haunting you at night it's just the friendly raccoon mom taking a smoke break. Get it Raccoons in the Chimney- lol Smoke Break and all of you went to the dark side and thought I meant cigarettes - well i did but I though that was a clear cover up.

You remember to the good old days when they were 1 week old ahh the good old days. Then at 8 - 12 days they had their eyes open. I though it was so cute their first little whimper, Ah the good old days.
